The park is a small jungle surrounded by the high walls of the canyon; its paths let to know native flora and fauna; the first one,
orchids and bromelias create hanging gardens over the trees; the second one relates to crocodiles, spider monkeys and many colored birds.
It is also ideal for a long walk or an exciting bicycle expedition.
At the top of the ravine, the Tyrol station is located from where you can slide high over the trees top or go down by rappel to
unreachable places by other media. In the same way, it is possible navigate on kayaks to near places.
Warm, sub humid with rains during summer; average temperature is 26° C. The park is opened 365 days a year.
It is located in the state’s center it comprises the Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapa de Corzo, San Fernando, Osumacinta, Soyalo municipalities.
12 Km from Tuxtla Gutiérrez take the 190 Panamericana Highway to Chiapa de Corzo boat board where you can board a boat to flow through the canyon. You can also travel to the Osumacinta boat board, 45 Km from Tuxtla using the state’s Highway to navigate through the Grijalva.
