Description

Natural beautiful spot in a creek, rises from a cave falling down to a water fall 25 meters; the water fall produces a series of natural pools, framed by a jungle vegetation, mainly amate and fig trees, climbing at the calcareous walls of the mountains.

Is warm sub humid, rainy during summer; average temperature a year is 26° C, with a rain of 990 mm per year. Ethnics group: Zoque, Tzotzil and Tzeltal.

It is located in the Chiapa de Corzo municipality, at the middle of the State.

How to get there?

From 190 Highway, at 14 Km and a deviation to the water fall.

What to do?

Camping and forest walking.

Trip hints

The water fall is visited all seasons, recommendable do it with no rain, November to March. It is suggested to carry drinking water and comfortable clothes and shoes to long walking distances.
