Description

From Mapastepec, 15 Km of ground road to El Paval and then a pathway, that requires good physical condition, the reservation El Triunfo is met. Humidity, low temperature, an exuberant vegetation always green, copious ferns, lianas and moss are some features of the fog jungle; an almost unreal scenario of always dripping leaves due to the clouds nibbling the grass.

The extraordinary beautiful arborescent ferns overlap from the plants and the pavón and quetzal from the animals. The pavón lives only on the highest peaks of the Sierra Madre of Chiapas or the neighbor Guatemala mountains.
