Description

This Tourism center is characterized by having, mainly, long areas of natural estuaries with plantations of mangrove trees; besides, it is located inside the Reserva de la Biosfera La Encrucijada (La Encrucijada Biosphere Reserve).

How to get there?

Parting from Tapachula taking the road No. 200 and for 62km. you will arrive to Escuintla; then, 23 kms from there you will find Las Garzas (The Herons) pier, where you board the boat than within a ride of 25 minutes it will take you to this site.

Boat rides, flora and fauna sightseeing, bird sightseeing, long walks, camping and swimming.
